My name is Jack and I am a 16 year old male who has a passion for live music and theatre. I have loved music ever since I can remember and theatre was something that I just came across, kind of, by accident when I was around 10 or 11. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to do something to do with music. Singer didn’t even enter my mind until I sang in public one time and I was told that I was really good. So that ambition took over, then I discovered musical theatre and wanted to become a stage star …and then puberty kicked in. Turns out I don’t have *as good* a voice as I used (thought I used) to but I still have the dreams of working in theatre, musical theatre specifically.
I have an immense love for Lady Gaga. She is so creative in so many ways, in specific, with her music. Every song means something to her and she isn’t just churning out lyrics like N-Dubz or Justin Beiber. She has a huge back catalogue of songs that I adore and it is amazing to be able to hear a range of styles that her music has been through and kind of go through the same musical journey that she has been through, in a way.  The amount of love that she has for her fans is amazing and the amount that she gives back to her fans is amazing, too. She never fails to disappoint and even though I’ve never attended one of her concerts, I’ve been told that they have been enough to convert the most devout Gaga haters out there so… go give the Monster Ball a try.
I wont bore you with my history with web design so, I will just tell you all about another love of mine which is Television and movies. These aren’t a *huge* love but I do have a soft spot for them. My current TV show obsessions at the moment are: Ugly Betty, Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives. I just can’t get enough. I’m seriously hoping for an Ugly Betty movie. That would be so great. I have an unlimited cinema movie pass to my local cinema so I try to go and see most movies there and I have a list of the movies that I have seen at the cinema this year below.
Back to my love of music – I have my iPod with me at all times. It doesn’t leave my side. I love music so much and it means so much to me to be able to have music available any time I want. With almost 4000 songs on my iPod touch (1st gen – which is years old now) I find it hard, every time I press that ‘Music’ button, to choose a specific album or song. I end up just putting it on shuffle and see what comes up next. You can view my most played tracks below.
